Thibault is a Senior Advisor to the Executive Committee.

Previously, Thibault spent 4 years building SME Capital, an alternative lending platform, where he was the CFO and COO and member of the credit committee. In this role, he secured over £500m in institutional funding, assessed over £1bn of SME credit opportunities in the UK, designed tech-enabled underwriting processes and helped grow the team to over 30 people.

Prior to SME Capital, Thibault was a Vice President in Barclays’ M&A team in Hong Kong, helping one of the firm’s largest global clients execute its buy and build strategy in Asia. He also spent 3 years in Credit Suisse’s Financial Sponsors Group in London, helping structure over £20bn worth of complex sponsor backed leveraged finance transactions.

He is fluent in English and French and holds an M.Sc. in Management and Finance from Louvain School of Management, and an MBA from INSEAD.
