Rashid is an advisor to the Board and sits on the Investment Committee.

Rashid is a globally experienced finance professional with broad-based expertise in financial and non-financial risk management. He has an extensive background in multi-product asset and liability management for banks, insurance companies, pension funds, and family offices. He is a Co-Founder of Oxbridge Angels, an early-stage angel fund, and is also a Senior Advisor to Ripplewood Advisors LLC.

Previously, Rashid spent 22 years at Deutsche Bank, where he was the Chief Operating Officer for the Corporate & Investment Bank and Global Head of the Financing and Solutions Group. From 2005 to 2011 he was the Chief Risk Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Abbey Life Assurance Company.

He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from Imperial College London, an M.Sc. in Applied Financial Mathematics and a DPhil in Particle Physics from Oxford University, and an Executive MBA from Judge Business School, Cambridge University.
