Oumar is the Chief Executive Officer, a member of the Board of Directors, and sits on the Investment and Executive committees.

Prior to founding Aeon, Oumar was the Managing Partner of an investment advisory business, which he co-founded in 2013. He established the business as a credible player in the credit space, structuring standalone investments for institutions and family offices, as well as managing an opportunistic credit fund.

In 2012, he established an alternative investment advisory desk at Terium LLP that specialised in providing liquidity solutions to clients with distressed fund holdings. Oumar started his career at Credit Suisse in 2005 before moving to the Global Fund Derivatives group at Deutsche Bank, where he was the Global Head of Mutual Fund Derivatives Trading.

Oumar speaks English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Senegalese and is an alumnus of ISEG Business School, University of Oxford and ESLSCA Business School Paris.
