Joachim Gottschalk
Joachim is a member of the Advisory Board.
Joachim completed his studies at the Gymnasium Uberreiter in Munich and began his career at Dresdner Bank. He then joined Inter Dealer Broker Company Financière Tradition in Lausanne in 1971, and was promoted to the board of Tradition Holding in 1983 covering Central and Eastern Europe.
Joachim founded Gottex Brokers in 1986 and Gottex Fund Management in 1992, one of the first European fixed income hedge funds, which developed into a Fund of Hedge Funds in 1998. The company was listed on the Swiss Stock exchange in 2007 with a market capitalisation of CHF 2.2bn.
Joachim exited Gottex Fund Management and Gottex Brokers in 2015, and founded Vedra Partners Ltd, a Multi-Family Office based in London with an affiliate in Lausanne.
